ESSI Launches New BlueTide Communications Division

[Via Satellite 01-22-2014] Environmental & Safety Systems International (ESSI) has created BlueTide Communications Corporation via the spinoff of the ESSI Communications Division. BlueTide will focus on satellite communications for energy exploration and production, maritime and yacht leisure markets. The company will provide data, voice and video monitoring to the energy exploration and production industry as well as commercial maritime and leisure yacht markets with coverage in 11 regions around the world.

Using the Hughes Network Systems HX Mobility platform, BlueTide will integrate internally developed systems with third party solutions to provide reliable VSAT communications to remote and harsh environments.
