Comtech Telecommunications Subsidiary Receives $7 M Order for Military Communications Amplifiers

[Via Satellite 12-10-13] Comtech Xicom Technology, a California-based subsidiary of Comtech Telecommunications, received an order worth approximately $7 million from a U.S. based system integrator for Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTAs) for a major U.S. Army satellite communications program.
The TWTAs ordered for this army application are part of Comtech Xicom Technology’s new high efficiency commercial off the shelf TWTA product line.
They promise a high-efficiency, small and lightweight design, which provides system designers and integrators greater flexibility for optimizing system designs.
