Advantech Wireless Completes Turnkey Solution Deployment for Major Latin America Military Customer

[Via Satellite 11-06-13] Advantech Wireless has successfully completed the deployment of a turnkey solution that includes its SapphireBluTM Series of UltraLinearTM GaN technology based solid-state power amplifiers (SSPAs) for a major military customer in Latin America.

The solution included the deployment of the first Hub Earth station to access Mexsat’s newest member of the fleet, Mexsat 3 (Bicentenario) and the combination of Advantech Wireless’s 500W C-Band UltraLinearTM GaN based SSPAs integrated with one 9.3m antenna. The remote antennas and RF subsystems were also provided as part of this contract.
