Swedish terminal manufacturer Requtech has made the first sale of its RESA M Ku-band multi-orbit terminal to a partner in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region.
Requtech is working to deploy its terminals globally, with deployments across Europe, Asia, and North America. The company said it is expecting to reach South America, Africa, and Australian markets by the end of the year, with full global availability in 2025.
The RESA M Ku terminal is designed for multiple satellite orbits, including Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) and GEO Geostationary Orbit (GEO) constellations. It supports both land and maritime platforms. Designed as a manpack solution, the terminal is a fully integrated phased array, flat panel antenna terminal for on-the-move and on-the-pause applications. It is qualified on Intelsat’s network.
“The response to RESA M Ku has been overwhelmingly positive, with strong commercial interest across multiple regions,” said Requtech CEO Dr. Omid Sotoudeh. “This milestone sale reflects the growing demand for reliable, flexible satcom solutions — and positions us for rapid global expansion through the rest of the year.”
