[Via Satellite 11-12-13] Advantech Wireless released its new High Power 500W Ka-Band, Mentor Class of Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPAs). The new Mentor Class SSPAs are designed to cover all new and existing Ka-Band satellites, and are built with modular redundancy.

Featuring high power density in a compact, rugged and weatherproof package, the new Mentor Class Ka- Band SSPAs/BUCs are fully DVB-S2 enabled.

“Our customers will realize major savings in energy cost, satellite bandwidth and CAPEX,” said Cristi Damian, VP business development, Advantech Wireless.
