Gilat Satellite Networks continues momentum for its Sidewinder in-flight connectivity terminal, reporting $39 million in orders from an unnamed, leading satellite operator.
The order encompasses both linefit and retrofit installations. Deliveries are expected over the next 12 months.
The Sidewinder terminal was developed by Stellar Blu, which is now part of Gilat after an acquisition that closed in mid-2025. Sidewinder is an electronically steered antenna (ESA) compatible with both Geostationary Orbit (GEO) satellites and the Eutelsat OneWeb Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation. It supports IFC programs for both SES and Panasonic.
Earlier this month, CEO Adi Sfadia told investors the company was expecting awards from both SES and Panasonic as early as this quarter.
This also comes after a multi-million dollar Sidewinder order announced in January. Gilat’s in-flight connectivity business contributed to overall revenue growth of 48% year-over-year in 2025. Commercial revenue, including the IFC business, grew 81% year-over-year in 2025 to $281 million.
