Qatar Airways has installed SpaceX‘s Starlink in-flight connectivity (IFC) on nearly 120 aircraft, equipping its entire Airbus A350 fleet within eight months.

Qatar Airways issued an update on its Starlink rollout on Wednesday. The airline first announced its move to Starlink IFC in late 2023. Qatar Airways had its first Starlink-equipped flight in October 2024.

In 2025, the airline completed installation across its Airbus A350 and Boeing 777 fleet. According to the airline, 58% of its widebody fleet is equipped with Starlink, accounting for up to 250 flights daily.

It was also the first to operate Starlink on a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft and has three Dreamliners in service with Starlink.

The airline said that operationally, Starlink service allows flight and roster updates to be delivered instantly to crew’s devices, and improves cabin crew coordination with ground teams during medical or service-related situations.

Starlink recently signed Emirates and International Airlines Group (IAG), including Aer Lingus, British Airways, and Iberia to its list of customers with deals in November of last year.
