Celebrating Women in Satellite is a community-driven feature from Via Satellite that recognizes the women making a difference in the space and satellite industry—and in the lives of their colleagues. Launched in honor of International Women’s Day, this annual series shares powerful, personal stories about women who lead, inspire, and help move the industry forward.
Each year, we invite readers to spotlight the women who have made a meaningful impact—whether as colleagues, mentors, mentees, supervisors, or friends. These stories honor both professional achievements and the often-unseen personal support that shapes careers and strengthens our community.
There is no formal award. Instead, Via Satellite curates a selection of submissions to feature in an online article and in the March issue of the magazine. The most compelling nominations go beyond the resume—they are heartfelt reflections that showcase the difference one person can make. Nominators are acknowledged alongside their submissions.
