Meet the 2023 Startup Space Pitch Contest Competitors

Ten startups will compete at the 2023 Startup Space competition on Tuesday, March 14, in the SATELLITE Unveiled Theater, judged by investors from Bessemer Venture Partners, Toyota Ventures, DCVC, MaC Venture Capital, E2MC Ventures, Stellar Ventures, Starbridge, OpAmp Capital, and Seraphim Capital.

AdapTronics (Italy, COO Dr. Camilla Conti) — Developing an electrostatic gripper for in-orbit spacecraft servicing and space debris removal.

Kayhan Space (USA, CTO Araz Feyzi) — Pathfinder data platform automating satellite operations: autonomous safety-of-flight alerts, analysis, and collision avoidance courses of action.

Magnestar (Canada, CEO Jacqueline Good) — Software and hardware mapping all RF and optical signals to monitor spectrum and predict interference for satellite operators.

Pale Blue (Japan, COO Toku Sakai) — Spacecraft engines running on water, using patented plasma generation technology; developed with JAXA and the University of Tokyo.

Synchropal (Italy, CEO Ibrahim Osmani) — Developing a multi-source miniaturized optical oscillator to synchronize time and frequency as a resilient alternative to GNSS. VS
