European big data and cybersecurity company Atos launched Atos SkyMon Interference Localization System (ILS) Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT), a new satellite monitoring and geolocation system designed to detect, localize, and mitigate interference from small satellite carriers. SkyMon ILS VSAT will provide an overview of identified VSAT networks and terminal locations, VSAT network classification, monitoring of adjacent satellite interference for active terminals, identification and demodulation of Time-Division Multiple Access (TDMA) carriers, and a list of terminal-IDs causing interference.

SkyMon ILS VSAT is Atos’ latest innovation following its acquisition of Siemans Convergence Creators (CVC). The system was formerly known as Siecams.
