Sidus Space has signed an MoU with SkyServe to deploy the company’s edge computing software on its LizzieSat satellite. The deal will provide on-orbit testing for SkyServe’s edge computing software. Sidus Space and SkyServe announced the deal on Monday after it was signed during Space Symposium.

SkyServe’s edge computing software is designed to process satellite imagery data and give customers real-time insights into their operations.

“Our upcoming flights on the LizzieSat constellation will give us a unique advantage with on-demand tasking and rapid revisit when delivering critical insights across optical and RF sensors to customers at low-latency,” commented Vinay Simha, SkyServe founder and CEO.
