Kleos Space signed Advanced Ground Information Systems, Inc. (AGIS) as a customer for a data evaluation contract, Kleos announced Jan. 20. AGIS offers command and control communication capabilities to U.S. military, government, and first responders.

Under the contract, AGIS will evaluate Kleos’ Guardian Locate data product, which delivers radio frequency (RF) geolocation data. AGIS will integrate Kleos data into its multinational C5ISR (command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) system and other intelligence sources. The data collection will be focused on hostile and illegal shipping awareness.

“Kleos’ data complements existing datasets and can be used to validate or tip and cue other sources to improve the intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities,” said Kleos’ Chief Revenue Officer Eric von Eckartsberg.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
