Planet has landed a deal to supply its imagery to critical event management (CEM) company Everbridge. Planet’s satellite imagery will now be added to Everbridge’s Visual Command Center, through which organizations manage operations, supply chain, and resiliency. Everbridge’s CEM platform is used by more than 5,300 global firms.

Everbridge said adding satellite imagery will help governments and corporations mitigate the impact of natural and manmade disasters, which could allow responders to pinpoint where roads and other infrastructure sustained damage. Annie Asrari, senior director of the Everbridge Partner Ecosystem said Planet’s satellite imagery will give customers “unparalleled insights into local conditions to support a variety of high-impact customer use cases.”

“Our partnership with Everbridge expands the way our new and existing users can combine global, high-resolution satellite imagery with effective crisis mitigation to protect people, operations and assets,” said Dina Kazzaz, head of Business Development at Planet. “These insights will allow our customers to better understand rapidly evolving conditions on the ground and respond to disasters more quickly and effectively.”
