Redwire Corporation has opened a new facility in Chantilly, Virginia to support the company’s growing number of national security programs and customers. Redwire announced the new facility on Feb. 27.

“The new facility will be home to projects that require the kinds of deep expertise, relationships, and infrastructure needed to support national security programs, including classified programs. Investing in this critical infrastructure underscores our commitment to our partnership with national security customers,” said Dean Bellamy, Redwire executive vice president of National Security Space.

The 7,300 square feet Chantilly office will serve as the hub for Redwire’s national security portfolio and customer base, including development labs, equipment, and infrastructure for digital engineering projects. The office will also house the shadow lab, a digital engineering experience including advanced modeling and simulation.

This expansion follows the recent opening of Redwire’s facility in Longmont, Colorado. This growth for Redwire will enable the design and development of national security space advancements such as Link 16 antennas.
