Kymeta has reached an agreement to distribute OneWeb connectivity services to the U.S. government in partnership with OneWeb’s government subsidiary, OneWeb Technologies

A new managed satellite service offering announced Tuesday will see Kymeta provide government customers with hardware solutions packaged with network access from OneWeb Technologies. The companies are hosting a LEO demonstration event this week in Dallas, Texas.

“The LEO network delivers the low latency, high-speed, and multi-orbit network sought after by the Department of Defense and other government customers,” said Walter Berger, president and co-CEO of Kymeta. “We are pleased to join in this partnership with OneWeb Technologies as we continue to bring advanced solutions across a wide range of applications for defense agencies, government, public safety, and commercial customers around the world.”

This distribution agreement follows after Kymeta joined OneWeb’s distribution partner network earlier this year. Kymeta also plans to develop an antenna based on its u8 antenna specifically for the OneWeb network
