Kratos Receives $11M Development Contract for Next-Gen Satellite Program

A division of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has received an $11 million development contract related to a planned next-generation satellite program, the company announced Monday. 

The award was given to Kratos Microwave Electronics Product Division (KMED), which provides microwave products, subsystems and components for missile, radar, and space and satellite communications. Work will be performed in Israel. Kratos said it is not able to provide any more information about the project. 

“Our entire organization is excited and proud to have been selected to participate in and support this new space and satellite related program opportunity, which ultimately has the potential to be very significant to our business. We are both seeing and pursuing additional new opportunities like the one we are reporting on today,” commented Yonah Adelman, president of KMED.
