Vice President Mike Pence to Speak at SATELLITE 2019

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence  will deliver a special keynote address on Monday, May 6th at the SATELLITE 2019 conference taking place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The Vice President’s remarks will begin at 1:15 p.m. during the event’s Monday Keynote Luncheon.

SATELLITE 2019 Chair Jeffrey Hill said that the show team is excited to host the first U.S. Vice President to appear at the event in its 38-year history. “Vice President Mike Pence has helped implement a much-needed new approach to U.S. space strategy with emphasis on cooperation between national security, commercial, and civil space sectors,” said Hill. “Innovative private-sector space companies in the United States are leading the development of technologies that are critical to the success of the government’s mission. We’re thrilled to have Vice President Pence speak to our SATELLITE attendees about strengthening this crucial partnership and cultivating new opportunities to expand our capabilities in space.”
