Comtech Receives US Army Blue Force Tracking Program Contract

Comtech Telecommunications announced today that its subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom, was awarded option period one of a contract to support the U.S. Army’s Project Manager Mission Command (PM MC) Blue Force Tracking (BFT-1) program. The option has an overall potential value of approximately $8 million.

BFT-1 is a battle command, real-time situational awareness and control system. Under the five-year BFT-1 sustainment contract, Comtech will provide engineering services, satellite network operation services, and program management.

Including this order, $5.9 million of funding has been received. The overall funded value of the contract, including the Base and Option Year One, is approximately $13.5 million.
