Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB), provider of construction, repair and refit services for naval, military and commercial vessels, and Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (YahSat) have been awarded a contract to fit satellite communications systems to the complete fleet of UAE Navy Baynunah class corvettes.
Under the contract, YahSat and communications company Rohde & Schwarz will supply the equipment that ADSB, the prime contractor on the project, will install to the fleet. Additional project technical support will be provided by CMN and SELEX.
