MDA to Provide Technology for Boeing 702HP Satellites

Canadian information solutions provider MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates’ (MDA) U.S. operation signed a multi-million dollar agreement with Boeing Space and Intelligence Systems to provide advanced technology solutions for its 702HP communications satellites through 2012.
    The technology aims to help 702HP satellites provide high-power communications for military and commercial satellite customers.
    MDA already provides Boeing with network and media services technology solutions to support Canadian Defense Forces on Boeing 702B satellites under a contract MDA won in January 2010.
    Financial details of the 702HP contract were not disclosed.
