[Satellite TODAY 04-13-11] The U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center awarded Integral Systems a $1.7 million contract modification to the company’s Command and Control System-Consolidated (CCS-C) contract, Integral announced April 12.
The modification establishes a new contract line to extend Integral Systems’ integration of the Blue Force Server prototype on the CCS-C system to the Joint Space Operations Center for the Wideband Global Satcom (WGS) system. Integral Systems will expand the current prototype Space Operations Center 31 to support additional WGS payload telemetry and WGS spacecraft. The modification also funds a full backup system that will be installed in Space Operations Center 32.
The CCS-C contract, first awarded in 2002, enables a unified command and control capability for the 50th Space Wing’s milsatcom programs.
