[Satellite TODAY 01-04-10] Globecomm Systems was awarded an eight-month managed services contract valued at $7.3 million from an unnamed government prime contractor, the company announced Jan. 3.
Globecomm will provide engineering services, managed satellite and terrestrial communications connectivity, and lifecycle support services to the prime contractor, which will be responsible for the overall deployment of a communications network.
The agreement includes two six-month options that would bring the total contract value at up to $14.5 million if exercised.
