[Satellite Today 07-07-09] Antenna Technology Communications Inc. (ATCi) deployed its Warrior Satellite Monitoring and Surveillance System for law enforcement agency markets, the company announced July 6.
The Warrior System provides observation for satellite activities spread over 140 degrees, with the capability of being upgraded beyond basic control monitoring standards.
“ATCi has a long standing history in successfully implementing several surveillance and monitoring systems for the [U.S.] Department of Defense and other like government and military agencies as well as foreign Indian and Asian defense networks which made tailoring a system for the law enforcement network a sensible progression. It is not enough to simply monitor [fixed services] satellites, but today’s surveillance must also have the ability to associate and provide critical algorithm patterning data which can ultimately process and associate unlimited IP data thereby delivering greater security," Gary Hatch, ATCi’s CEO, said in a statement.
