[Satellite Today 03-11-09] Swe-Dish Satellite Systems unveiled its FA120KS Fly-Away satellite communications terminal with multi-band capability, the company announced March 10.
    The FA120KS is being marketed for voice, video and data use by non-technical military personnel, commercial news broadcasters, and first responders. The terminal is designed to meet demanding mission-critical requirements, and it features worldwide Ku-band capability with X- and Ka-band upgradeability.
    Swe-Dish said that the system meets the full requirements for U.S. military combat service support and MIL-STD-810F environments as well as with U.S. Federal Communications Commission, Intelsat, Eutelsat and International Telecommunication Union standards.
