[Satellite Today 01-14-09] Hughes Network Systems appointed Richard Lober vice president of defense and intelligence systems, the company announced Jan. 13.
Lober will be responsible for managing and expanding the U.S. Department of Defense and intelligence programs for Hughes.
Lober previously served as senior vice president and general manager of communications and electronics at Cubic Defense Applications Inc.
