[Satellite Today 11-26-08] L-3 Communications was awarded a $28 million option placement to provide its Prophet signals intelligence platforms for the U.S. Army, L-3 announced Nov. 26.
Under this award, L-3 Linkabit, based in San Diego, will provide the Army with 49 Prophet sensors and controls that will supply mission-critical capabilities.
The total value of orders received since the initial contract was awarded in 2001 now exceeds $220 million.
