[12-20-07 – Satellite Today] The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has accepted delivers of 22 OuterLink mobile asset management systems and five spare Cp-3i satellite communication terminal platforms, OuterLink announced Dec. 19.
OuterLink’s solutions offer secure, air, ground and marine vehicle tracking and two-way voice and data communications between a command center and vehicle operators as well as enabling multiple agencies to coordinate the dispatch of all mobile assets by providing a centralized view of vehicles across multiple agencies.
Financial details of the contract were not released.
