[11-19-07 – Satellite Today] DataPath Inc. has added baseband solutions for mobile satellite communications networks to their U.S. General Service Administration (GSA) contract, the company announced Nov. 19.
DataPath baseband solutions are scalable, modular systems that feature split NIPRnet and SIPRnet architecture, Cisco routers and switches, optional Cisco Call Manager Express, and the DataPath IP Accelerator.
DataPath received a five-year contract from the GSA in June to provide satellite-based communications networks for use in battlefields, natural disaster sites and regions with challenging weather and terrain.
