Quake has unveiled a Q-Puck Iridium satellite modem and antenna designed to provide connection to Iridium’s satellite network, the company announced Nov. 6.
   The Q-Puck is targeted to developers with accelerated time pressures and can also be used in M2M applications including remote asset tracking and monitoring solutions.
   "Offering a simple and efficient global satellite solution straight from the box, Quake Q-Puck Iridium satellite modem and antenna are certified to operate in even harsh environment conditions," Quake said in a company statement. "The compact design of the Q-Puck facilitates both easy installation and integration, allowing the user to access information quickly and significantly optimizing time to market."
