Textron Aviation will offer upgraded high-speed internet connectivity solutions from SpaceX’s Starlink service on its fleet of Cessna Citation Latitude aircraft after receiving certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the private airline announced Thursday.

Textron said its customers can schedule the Starlink upgrade for installation at its North American Textron Aviation Service Centers and International Service Centers. The upgrade comes as an “aviation kit” consisting of an antenna, power supply unit, a wireless access point, and harnessing. Installation only requires power input from the aircraft.

“With Starlink connectivity now available as an upgrade, Citation Latitude customers can enjoy a seamless, high-speed in-flight experience that keeps them connected in more of the places they fly,” said Brian Rohloff, senior vice president of customer support at Textron. “This enhancement reflects our commitment to innovation and elevates the Latitude’s reputation as the world’s most-delivered midsize business jet, renowned for its exceptional performance and cabin comfort.”
