Intelsat is expanding its work with iKO Media Group (iKOMG) to support the company’s new offering for faith-based broadcasters. iKOMG, a company that provides teleport and cloud services for broadcasters, will deliver its new service ‘Faith Beyond’ via Intelsat’s Galaxy 19 (G-19) satellite. G-19 is a free-to-air, direct-to-home neighborhood that serves audiences across North America. Intelsat announced the deal on June 17.

iKOMG’s new service is fully managed and designed to support the specific needs of faith-based broadcasters. It provides a complete distribution and engagement ecosystem integrating a variety of components including satellite broadcasting, OTT streaming, live events, cloud-native playout and metadata management into a single offering.

Intelsat recently added audience measurement capabilities to its enhanced VideoNow electronic program guide (EPG) for G-19, a step toward ad-monetization in the direct-to-home (DTH) free-to-air (FTA) satellite video market.

“Faith Beyond emphasizes our commitment to empowering faith-based broadcasters with the tools they need to thrive in a competitive media landscape. Combined with the unmatched reach and reliability of Galaxy 19, Faith Beyond enables ministries to effortlessly expand and engage with their audience. Our collaboration with Intelsat is built on a shared dedication to excellence, accessibility and scalable growth, delivering solutions broadcasters can trust,” Rashmin Abhani, SVP Presale & Satellite Resource Management, iKOMG, said in a statement.
