ViaLite Communications appointed two new distributors in the latest expansion of the company’s reseller network. Both distributors are located in Hong Kong. Datacom System International will focus on system integrators for satcom and broadcast applications, while Starcom Electronics will focus on timing and synchronization applications.

With presence throughout the Asia Pacific region including Pakistan and Malaysia and a subsidiary — Wancom Communication & Network Technology — in China, Datacom is a major supplier of satellite communications equipment and system integrators for satcom applications in the region.

Starcom was chosen for their expertise in Precision Network Timing (PNT) technology. They are a distributor for Microsemi, whose high accuracy time servers interface with ViaLite’s Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Global Positioning System (GPS) Radio Frequency (RF) over fiber products.
