[Via Satellite 07-23-2015] Hughes Network Systems has launched a new suite of offerings to address the K-16 education market. The solutions include HughesNet Gen4 Satellite Broadband for rural and remote schools, HughesON MediaSignage for digital signage, HughesON Distance Learning solutions and HughesON Managed Wi-Fi.

Hughes is a Universal Service Administration Company (USAC)-approved E-rate vendor, making some offerings eligible for government funding to help offset the financial commitment for academic institutions.
