The SBCA Foundation said it would award grants to an individual in the industry who has, “devoted time and effort to some worthy community effort.” The foundation also said it might award grants to an entire company that has, “committed to a project or mission, including helping to build a house for Habitat for Humanity or rebuilding a community center destroyed by a hurricane.”

   SBCA will accept applications from any individual or company within the industry and the selected grants will be awarded to the non-profit organization in that company or individuals name.

   The SBCA Foundation was established in order to support the efforts of individuals and companies in the consumer-based satellite video and broadband industry who are making a contribution to improve the lives of the people in their communities.
