[Satellite TODAY 11-29-11]  Spacenet has appointed Glenn Katz as its new CEO. Katz will take over at the beginning of 2012 and replaces Andreas Georghiou, Spacenet’s current CEO who has been in the role since 2006.

            This means that both Spacenet and its parent company, Gilat Satellite Networks, will have new CEOs starting 2012. Erez Antebi takes over as Gilat Satellite Networks CEO next year, replacing Amiram Levinberg, who will remain the chairman of the company.
