[Satellite TODAY 08-25-10] The Kudelski Group saw its overall revenues and profits rise in the first six months of this year, according to its half-year results issued Aug. 23.
The company, which supplies conditional access and middleware services to pay-TV operators worldwide, had revenues in the six months to the end of June of $498.78 million, an increase of almost 14 percent compared to the same stage last year.
The company had an operating profit in the first six months of $45.81 million, a significant increase compared to the same stage last year, when the company barely made an operating or net profit.
The Kudelski Group works with a number of satellite pay-TV operators such as Dish Network in the United States and SkyLife in South Korea. The company signed deals with both companies in January this year to secure both operators’ pay-TV services.
