[Satellite TODAY 06-21-10] On-demand TV solutions and service provider Espial and development partner Conax, a global content security specialist, have introduced a hybrid-IP TV solution for cable, satellite, terrestrial and telecom operators, the companies announced June 17.
    The service platform offers secure delivery of broadcast TV, interactive applications, video-on-demand, local and network digital video recording and timeshift TV for televisions, PCs and mobile devices. The solution features Espial’s IPTV middleware, video on-demand and content workflow management products working with Conax content security technology.
    Com Hem, a digital broadcast service provider in Sweden, announced it would roll out the services to over 1.6 million homes in Sweden.
