Vizada is partnering with Inmarsat to launch a beta test program to validate full commercial readiness of Inmarsat’s IsatPhone Pro handset, Vizada announced April 16.
    Vizada will use its testing facilities and global distribution network to help Inmarsat ensure the IsatPhone Pro is ready for market and sell IsatPhone Pro equipment, services and accessories to the market after its release.
Official commercial launch of the IsatPhone service is scheduled for June.
    “A comprehensive beta test process ensures that the product and service offering will perform at the high level our partners and their customers expect from Vizada before it moves to full production,” Vizada Senior Product Manager Amy Kemp said in a statement.
     Vizada said that the company already has commenced IsatPhone call trials.
