[Satellite TODAY 04-02-10] Kudelski Group subsidiary Nagravision signed a 10-year conditional access system agreement with Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat, Nagravision announced March 31.
    The agreement extends the existing long-term security technology partnership between the two companies. Nagravision said the deal is the result of its confidence in the Polish pay-TV market and Cyfrowy Polsat’s need for customized solutions.
    “It is important that we are able to deliver in a secure way an advanced portfolio of services to enable us to attract new and satisfy existing subscribers. … We have been working with NagraVision for a number of years, and I am glad that they continue to support us with innovative solutions which not only develop our business but also generate savings for us,” Cyfrowy Polsat CEO Dominik Libicki said in a statement.
    Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
