[Satellite TODAY 04-01-10] EMS Aviation’s eNfusion AMT-700 High-gain Antenna (HGA) has received Inmarsat class 6 multi-channel aeronautical antenna certification, EMS announced March 31.
The AMT-700 HGA is a mechanically steered antenna optimized for installation in the tail of an aircraft. The Inmarsat certification recognizes that the HGA is able to support its multi-channel SwiftBroadband, Classic Aero H/H+, and Swift64 services, providing greater than 13.5-decibel gain over its coverage region.
EMS said the HGA is now ready for sale and installation.
