[Satellite TODAY 02-26-10] Fujitsu Frontech North America has appointed Vislink News & Entertainment as a reseller of its H.264 encoders and decoders, Vislink announced Feb. 25.
Starting in the second quarter of 2010, Vislink will also use Fujitsu’s low-delay H.264 technology to provide standard- and high-definition H.264 upgrades for its Advent DVE5100 MPEG2 Exciter and IRD5100 products.
“This is part of our wider strategy of partnering with other technology leaders to provide more integrated, cost-effective and efficient workflow solutions,” Vislink spokeswoman Ashley Dove said in a statement.
