[Satellite TODAY 01-22-10] Comtech EF Data introduced its CDM-750 high-speed trunking modem to the commercial market, the company announced Jan. 21.
The CDM-750 modem combines DVB-S2, adaptive coding and modulation (ACM) and DoubleTalk carrier-in-carrier technologies. The product aims to provide efficiencies and throughput for demanding point-to-point and backhaul links supporting telco operators and Internet service providers.
The CDM-750’s architecture also supports applications such as IP trunking, G.703 trunking and high-speed content delivery for disaster recovery and emergency services.
