[Satellite TODAY 01-04-10] XipLink has contracted Tessco Technologies as its North American value-added distributor, XipLink announced Jan. 4.
    Tessco, based in Hunt Valley, Md., will provide delivery and logistics support for XipLink’s XA- Series appliances in the region. The company’s XA-Series wireless optimizers include a range of appliances that scale from 2 megabits per second (Mbps) and 50 connections for use in small office and home office locations to redundant high performance systems operating at 155 Mbps and 30,000 simultaneous connections.
    XipLink said that a sharp rise in wireless Internet usage and an insatiable demand for bandwidth and capacity motivated the company to seek a partnership with Tessco. “Demand for our products is rapidly increasing and this important partnership enables fast delivery and support throughout North America. Tessco has built a valuable reputation for superior customer and logistics support,” XipLink CEO Jack Waters said in a statement.
