GlobeCast’s sharing and transfer solution, Content Exchange, has received Inmarsat certification, GlobeCast announced Sept. 12.
The IP-based audiovisual file sharing service is now available on Inmarsat’s Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) and can be used with a guaranteed bandwidth, ranging from 256kbps to 384 kbps, within a secure VPN environment.
Content Exchange is a solution that aims to allow communities of professionals, such as journalists, engineers and military personnel, to send and share audiovisual content with other colleagues from any point on the globe.
