[Satellite Today 07-24-09] Satellite solutions provider Americom Government Services (AGS) completed the acquisition of AOS, AGS announced July 21.

AOS, a provider of turnkey network mobility and communications solutions, will be operated as a division of AGS, a wholly owned subsidiary of SES Americom.

“Joining forces with AGS provides AOS with a much expanded, world-class solutions portfolio in both the fixed satellite and mobile satellite markets,” Sue Robinson, CEO of AOS, said in a statement.
