[Satellite Today 06-03-09] SkyVision signed a multi-year contract with Eutelsat for a transponder on the W2A satellite to supplement SkyVision’s pan-African space segment and private networks inventory, Eutelsat announced June 2.
    SkyVision, a provider of end-to-end solutions of standard or customized IP services for global enterprises, non-governmental organizations and Internet service providers, will use Ku-band and C-band capacity on W2A, located at the 10 degrees East orbital slot.
    “W2A will be providing vital as well as reliable intercontinental capabilities to our global network which has experienced phenomenal growth over the past three years,” Mark Gazit, president and CEO of SkyVision, said in a statement.
