Telenor Satellite Broadcasting (TSB) has signed a capacity deal with SES Sirius to gain further capacity in the Nordic region, Telenor announced April 22.
The three-year deal will provide TSB with 36MHz of Nordic FSS capacity on the Sirius 4 satellite at 5 degrees East.
TSB said the additional capacity will be utilized for dedicated occasional use broadcasts within the Nordics and Baltics.
TSB will hold full control of the contracted occasional use capacity and offer line-ups and other ground based occasional facilities from Nittedal, TSB’s largest teleport, located just outside Oslo, Norway.
