[Satellite Today 03-26-09] EchoStar Satellite Services launched spacecraft command and control services, delivering telemetry, tracking, and control services for satellites and providing transfer orbit services for commercial spacecraft following launch, EchoStar announced March 23.
    The service includes station keeping operations, maneuver planning, orbit determination, spacecraft health monitoring, telemetry monitoring and alarm response, anomaly investigation, quarterly health reports, and bus and payload operations engineering.
    Two fully redundant spacecraft operation centers in Wyoming and Arizona, staffed 24 hours per day, will support the service.
