[Satellite Today 12-03-08] LXE, the wireless logistics computing business of EMS Technologies, signed an agreement with MCL Technologies giving the partners greater access to MCL software tools on LXE equipment, LXE announced Dec. 3.
The companies also unveiled MCL-Collection and MCL-Voice for LXE’s handheld and wearable rugged mobile computers.
MCL’s voice products allow users to talk and listen to their mobile computing applications using language-based speech recognition technology and text-to-speech synthesis. MCL software now works with LXE’s HX2, HX3, MX7 and MX8 products.
