[Satellite Today 12-02-08] Link Research, a manufacturer within the Vislink Group, is expanding its operations in Singapore to accommodate growing sales and distribution for the Asia-Pacific region, the company announced Dec. 2.
    Link Research’s APAC product portfolio now includes Microwave Radio Communications (MRC) electronic newsgathering, portable, inter-city and IP-based microwave links; in addition to its wireless camera systems encoders for standard definition and high definition broadcast.
    As a result of the change, effective Jan. 1, the services formerly provided by MRC’s product repair depot in Hong Kong will transfer to Vislink Singapore
    MRC is the Vislink Group’s U.S.-based developer and manufacturer of wireless communication systems for the broadcast, defence, law enforcement and security markets.
